| Average. Older than the hills, but Peugeot's dinky runabout is so cheap it still has plenty of fans among those looking for a value-for-money city car. |

| Peugeot's pint-sized 106 hasn't changed much in years but, for many, that's part of its appeal. While this French runabout loses out to more modern and better-equipped rivals, it is remarkably good value and depreciation is minimal. The hot hatchback GTi is loads of fun, but the 1.5 diesels seem to take an age to reach cruising speeds. It's also due for replacement soon, so you might find a forecourt bargain - go prepared to haggle! Interior space and a tiny boot are serious drawbacks, but this is a car with enough charm to win you over. |
